We have in depth experience in acting for both leasing companies and airlines in sale and leaseback transactions. There are many considerations for entering into a sale and leaseback arrangement, including tax and accounting considerations, the desire to free-up equity associated with the aircraft. We can assist by gauging the commercial considerations and risks before proceeding to documentation.
